Another really impressive article I thought was worth a plug. With kid's comics seemingly becoming a lost art its great to see such a long list of recommendations!
There are actually a ton of comics for children available and the best Superman, Batman, and Spider-Man comics currently published are the ones in the all-ages range - I can't recommend Darkwing Duck, Incredibles, Thor and the Warriors Four, and I Kill Giants enough for younger readers (and if they just happen to fall on the floor and daddy needs to pick them up and they accidentally flick from one page to the next ALL OF THEIR OWN ACCORD then there's plenty there for older readers, too).
